Engelse tafelklok

Gesigneerd: John Pyke LONDON

A very attractive English table clock, made around 1725-30. The movement is rather complicated with going and striking trains, but also pull quarter repeat on six bells. Apart from the overhaul, the restoration involved the resilvering of all the rings on the dial. We are able to carry out this kind of work ourselves and because the resilvered parts are lacquered the clock will remain a wonderful object to admire for years to come.
